Three old stickers at Coffs Cinema Centre.I think the August street scene was there before the dyrte byrd which is circa 2001-02. the hard to see byrd text bomb is from june/july 04. strangely the two new byrd stickers so carefully placed two days earlier are missing! One of them was of a quality equal to or better than these, so who knows hy they were removed and not these?

Wierd process though, giving up your sketches and then waiting 2-3 months before you get to paint it. Then trying to remember how you were thinking of filling anything back then. I think my original sketch for this became the first tattoo girl, and they tend to be a bit more heavey set than these. Duise baptised them the transvestite and zombie, you figure which. obviously this photo stitchup is a mix of in progress and finished stuff but you get the gist. Atune has a gooder shot to publish on the as yet unlaunched canberra graffiti site. Nice to have Salty back in town however briefly.
